Cancellation & Refund Policy

Charly Sudhakaran believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

Charly Sudhakaran does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.

In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 2 Days days of receipt of the products. In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2 Days days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them. In case of any Refunds approved by the Charly Sudhakaran, it’ll take 3-5 Days days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

At HandShoppy, customer satisfaction is important to us. Since HandShoppy operates as a multi-seller marketplace, return and refund eligibility may vary depending on product type and seller policies. This policy outlines the general rules governing returns, replacements, and refunds.

By placing an order on HandShoppy, you agree to the terms below.


1. Return Eligibility

Products may be eligible for return if:

  • The item was received in a damaged or defective condition

  • The wrong product was delivered

  • The product significantly differs from its description

  • The return request is raised within the specified return window

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • In original packaging with tags, manuals, and accessories

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order ID / invoice)


2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products may not be eligible for return, including but not limited to:

  • Personal care & hygiene products (if opened)

  • Innerwear & intimate items

  • Perishable goods

  • Customized or made-to-order products

  • Items marked as Non-Returnable

Seller-specific exclusions may also apply.


3. Return Window

Return requests must typically be initiated within 3 days of delivery, unless otherwise stated on the product page. Requests made outside the return window may be rejected.


4. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Log into your HandShoppy account

  2. Navigate to My Orders

  3. Select the relevant order

  4. Click Request Return / Refund

  5. Provide the reason and supporting details (images if applicable)

Approved returns will include pickup or self-shipping instructions.


5. Refund Conditions

Refunds may be issued when:

  • Returned product passes seller inspection

  • Cancellation is successful before shipment

  • Product is confirmed damaged/defective

  • Seller cannot fulfill the order

Refund approval is subject to verification and seller policies.


6. Refund Method

Refunds are generally processed via the original payment method:

  • UPI / Card Payments → Refunded to source account

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) → Bank transfer or wallet refund

Refund timelines may vary depending on payment providers and banks.


7. Replacement Policy

For eligible products, buyers may request a replacement instead of a refund, subject to seller availability.


8. Return Rejection

Returns may be declined if:

  • Product is used, damaged by customer, or missing components

  • Return request is fraudulent or abusive

  • Product falls under non-returnable categories

  • Return window has expired


9. Seller Responsibility

As a marketplace, HandShoppy facilitates the return/refund process, while sellers are responsible for product quality, inspection, and resolution.


10. Cancellation Rules

Orders may be cancelled before shipment. Once shipped, cancellations may not be possible, and return procedures must be followed.
